Chakras of the body.
Amethyst – “THE ARTISTS STONE OR STONE OF SPIRITUALITY AND CONTENTMENT”: Considered the ‘Gem of Fire’ by ancients the amethyst is a stone of spirituality and contentment. It also was thought to bestow stability, strength, invigoration, and peace; the peace being a perfect peace, which was present prior to birth. It helps to maintain a state of meditation, opens, and stimulates the Third Eye, Crown, and Etheric Chakras enhancing cognitive perception as well as accelerating the development of intuitive and psychic ability.
Brass - Composed of Copper and Zinc, Brass has metaphysical healing properties to boost the immune system and to give courage. Repeated wearing of Brass jewelry pieces will cause them to take on your own body chemistry revealing your personal energy signature.
Bone – Bone has been used for centuries as instruments, in jewelry and garment creation as well as ritual objects. Bones represent the foundation of self, attitude, relationship, and belief systems that include death and rebirth and can be the symbol of ‘underlining truth’ since we are all the same at the skeletal level.
Citrine – “Stone of Alignment”: This mineral is useful for balancing the Yin-Yang energy and for aligning the Chakras on the ethereal plane. It especially activates and opens the lower Chakras such as the Naval, Solar Plexus, and Root Chakras.
Copper - Metal of Energy and Harmony: "Copper activates and opens the Base and Sacral Chakras, advancing and stabilizing energies of intuition, sexuality, desire, and vitality. It can conduct electrical impulses and can magnify the energy transfer, from the healer or from minerals, to the subject of the healing."
Coral, Red - Shell of Harmony: Coral symbolizes life and blood force energy. Dark red coral is used for heating and stimulating the bloodstream.
Carnelian - Stone of Perceptiveness: This stone stimulates analytical capabilities and inquisitiveness while it promotes precision and initiative. It is a useful stone for multiple Chakras' increasing physical energy, personal power, creativity, and compassion.
Fluorite, Blue – “Stone of Order”: This stone helps to promote calm, concise thoughts with both the spiritual and physical realm. It is a great stone for enabling direct and competent communication and is said to aid in record keeping.
Garnet - “Stone of Health and Commitment”: Provides a stable connection between the physical and astral bodies, energizing the total system into a state of vitality. It extracts negative energy from all Chakras and transmutes that energy into a beneficial state. Garnet also balances and stimulates the development and movement of Kundalini energy, which is used for ‘Self-Healing’.
Gold – “Metal of Wealth”: Gold has been known since prehistoric times to strengthen confidence and symbolize wealth. You can actually use your gold to attract more wealth to you simply by wearing it while you envision yourself growing richer.
Hematite - "Stone of Grounding or Stone of the Mind": "It facilitates balancing of the Yin-Yang energies, utilizing, in addition, the magnetic qualities of the energy to balance the meridians within the body."
Jade – “The Dream Stone”: Jade is a special stone that is believed to promote wisdom, balance, and peace. “The ultimate "Dream Stone," revered in ancient cultures, as well as today, bringing realization to one’s potential and devotion to ones purpose.” Jade is used to access the spiritual world, gain insight into ritualistic knowledge, encourage creativity, and dream-solve” (thecrystalvault.com). The Mayan culture also believed the stone promoted peaceful harmony within the body. In regards to the Chakras, green colored Jade also balances and harmonizes the body through the Heart Chakra, aiding in both emotional and physical well-being to the wearer. (Simmons, 210)
Jasper – “The Supreme Nurturer”: The ancients revered Jasper as sacred, protective, and as a facilitator of safe astral travel. It protects against negativity and helps one to be grounded to the stabilizing energies of the Earth. Jasper can be used to align the energy of the Chakras and to integrate the attributes of the Chakras.
Lapis Lazuli - "Stone of Total Awareness": Assists in activating the Throat and Brow Chakra's, this semi-precious stone can also aid in objectivity, clarity and stimulates communication.
Lava Rock, Black - Stone of Rebirth: This stone, infused with Earth's Energy, used for healing, is fantastic for grounding and stabilizing the Root Chakra as well as calming our emotions. Because it comes from raw energy, it is the stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment.
Magnesite - "Stone of the Heart of Silence": This stone is fantastic to wear for meditation, visualization, and motivation. It can also "instill peace during meditation [sometimes called] ... the Heart of Silence" It has been associated with the Crown Chakra and has also been known to "stimulate passion and heartfelt love".
Moonstone – Considered the "Stone of New Beginnings or the Travelers Stone": This stone, like its namesake, connected to the Moon's energies promotes a "balancing, introspection, reflection and the changing of structures in one's life". This stone can bring in very intuitive energies and connects you with your deep emotional self and the world around you. It cleanses negativity from your Chakras and is a talisman of good fortune.
Nickel - “The Detoxifier”: Wearing nickel can act as a negative energy detoxifier and can help to relieve/remove away depression, fear, and anger. If you are suffering from compulsive thoughts or dreams, nickel can help to purge your mind of them. Wearing nickel encourages creativity and a lightness of spirit.
Obsidian – “Stone of Protection”: It is also an excellent grounding stone associated with the Chakra at the base of the spine where it helps to connect with the Heart of the Earth. It is also known to repel negativity and disperse unloving thoughts.
Peridot – “Stone of Life Cycles”: Also called Chrysolite or Olivine, this stone has the ability to magnify the inner aspects of any situation and helps to regulate the cycles of life such as physical phases, mental or emotional cycles etc. It is also used to stimulate and cleanse the Heart and Solar Plexus Chakras. It is also an excellent healing stone.
Quartz, Clear – “Stone of Power”: In the metaphysical world, Clear Quartz crystals are the supreme gift of Mother Earth, and said to bring the energy of the stars into the soul. Ancients believed these stones to be alive, taking a breath once every hundred years or so, and many cultures thought them to be incarnations of the Divine. Quartz clears and activates the energy center of the body and attunes well to the Heart Chakra, Third Eye Chakra, and Crown Chakra.
Quartz, Rose - "Stone of Gentle Love": This stone is well known for its Love qualities. Rose Quartz can be especially helpful in the heart and Solar Plexus Chakras, producing a gentle, loving, silky-smooth energy that promotes harmony and helps balance the Yin-Yang energy. Wearing or carrying this stone stimulates the purest energy and life force - LOVE.
Silver – “Mirror of the Soul”: "Silver is used extensively with gemstones because the metal is able to both attract and retain, unto itself, those qualities which are emitted by the stone. The Silver provides a steady influence for the stone."
Sodalite – “Stone of Truthfulness and Solidarity”: This Throat Chakra activating stone encourages self-esteem, self-trust, fellowship and aids in verbalizing true feelings.
Stainless Steel – “Spiritual Armor”: Steel's energies are highly protective. Within astrology, the metal is associated with the planet Mars, named after the Roman agricultural guardian and God of war known in Greek Mythology as Ares. Ares was viewed primarily as a destructive and destabilizing force, but for the Romans Mars represented military power as a way to secure peace, and was a father (pater) of the Roman people. Steel is imbued with these attributes and will protect you from negative energy and psychic attack.
Tibetan or Chinese Turquoise – “Sky Stone of Good Fortune”: Tibetan Turquoise is green and carries a slightly different vibration than the more vivid blue turquoise of the Americas. It has been an important religious stone used by the Tibetans since 1000 B.C. or earlier and is believed to be brought to the Earth from the heavens. It strengthens and aligns all chakras, meridians, and subtle bodies. It can bring any and all energies to a higher level and acts to improve meditation and to further piece of mind. Tibetan Turquoise is traditionally received as a gift to pass on its natural fortune-bringing powers, so if you buy your own, make it a gift to yourself.
Turquoise – “Stone of Peace or Healer of the Spirit” These stones bring all of the bodies energy to a higher level, and brings in ease-of-communication with creativity, emotions, and intuition through the Naval Chakra. In ancient times it was esteemed by Tibetan Shaman as holding both spiritual and protective properties."
Tourmaline, Watermelon - “Stone of Inspiration”: Watermelon Tourmaline is a combination of pink and green Tourmaline that soothes the heart and counters anger or resentment. It attracts inspiration, diminishes fear by promoting understanding, and encourages self-confidence. It is the super activator of the heart chakra; providing for stimulation, energizing and connection with the Heart Chakra of the Higher-Self.
Water - This element is energetically conductive, connecting all of the crystal energies within the glass tube and allowing the wearer complete energetic transfer from the semi-precious stones.
